Registration information

This page provides registration information for the EG2011 main conference only. For EG2011 please register online on the EG Online Registration.

Please make sure that you register for the co-located events that you also want to visit. You can register for Eurographics Workshop on 3D Object Retrieval (April 10, 2011) and Eurographics Symposium on Parallel Graphics and Visualization (April 10-11, 2011) on the EG Online Registration.

Categories and package information (EG2010 Main Conference Only)

 

Conference

Conference registration includes access to all conference sessions (except the tutorials), to the Tuesday Welcome and Poster Reception and the Thursday Conference Dinner. The fee also includes all printed materials, conference digital media, coffee breaks and lunches, and a take-away lunch on Friday after the conference. We also include a coach trip back to either Manchester or Liverpool airport after the conference#.

# Please note. Attendees who wish to use this service must select the required destination airport on the online registration form. We will only be able to operate this service at the end of the conference and directly after the end of the conference. The coach service will occur if we have more than five EG2011 attendees going to each airport (Liverpool and Manchester). The coach will depart immediately after the end of the conference on Friday 15th April, and will be for paying conference attendees only.

 

Tutorials only

Tutorials registration includes access to all tutorials, tutorial materials and lunches and coffee breaks on the tutorial days.

 

Conference & Tutorials

Conference & Tutorials registration combines conference registration and tutorials registration at a discount.

 

Student

Student registration includes Conference and Tutorial registration at a discounted rate. That is, a student registration includes access to all conference sessions (including the tutorials), including the Tuesday Welcome and Poster Reception and the Thursday Conference Dinner. The fee also includes conference digital media, coffee breaks and lunches, and a take-away lunch on Friday after the conference. However, a student registration does not include a printed proceedings. We also include a coach trip back to either Manchester or Liverpool airport after the conference. To qualify as a student you have to be registered as full time student at a college or University. A confirmation has to be faxed to +44 1248 361429 (Attention: EG2011 Student Registration) and a valid student-id card has to be shown at the registration desk at the conference.

 

Big Buddy

Big Buddy registrations include one full conference plus tutorials registration and two Student registrations. If the member price is selected, all three participants have to be members.

The senior participant has to register first and will receive two identification numbers which subsequently enable two students under the age of 26 to register without further cost. Confirmation of student status is required by fax, and valid student ID must be presented at the registration desk.

 

Welcome Reception and Posters

The Eurographics 2011 “Welcome Reception and Poster Session” will take place on Tuesday the 12th April 2011. Drinks and a light meal will be served. This reception is included in all packages except the Tutorials only package. Extra tickets can be purchased at a cost of €25 through the online conference registration and pre-registration of additional attendees is required.

 

Conference Dinner

The Eurographics 2011 Conference Dinner will take place in the evening of Thursday the 14th April. This event is included in all packages except the Tutorials only package. Extra tickets can be purchased at a cost of €60, through the online conference registration, and pre-registration of additional attendees is required.

 

Lunches

Lunches are included with all packages.

 

Extra Proceedings

Additional copies of the proceedings can be pre-ordered for €65 through the online conference registration. Note, that the price at the conference will be higher and the availability will be limited. Consequently, we advice attendees to pre-order additional copies through the online conference registration prior to arriving at the conference.

Travel information

Information about travelling to Llandudno, Wales can be found on the accommodation and travel portion of the EG2011 conference website.

One coach will depart Manchester Airport and another to Liverpool Airport immediately at the close of the conference. The cost of this is included in the Conference registration. Attendees who wish to use this should indicate which airport they require. They should also indicate their request on the registration form. We are aiming for the coaches to be leaving Llandudno at 13.30. It will take 90-120 minutes to get to Manchester Airport or Liverpool Airport, so you should be dropped off by 15.30.

 

Cancellation

 

If you have pre-registered and cannot attend the conference, you must send us written notice of your cancellation and request for refund. The date of cancellation shall be the date the written request is received by the conference chair. Please provide the name of the registrant cancelling, you will then receive details on the procedure.

 

Cancellation Fees

1. Through March 4th 80% refund.

2. From March 4th but before 18th March 50%.

3. After 18th March no refund.
